What a match means for your product

A record here is a certification held by a specific company for a specific module configuration: the tested antenna, the RF firmware and, for construction design certification (工事設計認証), a production design. Your product inherits it only if you use the module exactly as certified. Change the antenna, tune output power, or reflash RF parameters, and the final product usually needs its own certification.

Even when the certification carries over, the finished product must display the Giteki mark (on the product or electronically in the UI) and, if you sell PSE-marked products directly to Japanese consumers, the Domestic Administrator rule applies since 25 December 2025.
